OFFERMOSSEN

This ghostly place in The Darkest Room is fictional but Öland has got many strange cult places where treasure, animals and even people used to be sacrificed. The most famous place is Skedemosse and it's located in the middle of the island, east of Borgholm. Here there's a museum where you learn more about the sacrificial rituals. On the northwest coast between the villages Djupvik and Knisa mosse, you can watch the birds of Öland.
